i'm using w2000 with amd1700+ & 256 ddram
i use to scan with fare(but on normal position)
i use 2000 or 4000 dpi resolution
and with the scsi it takes half time than usb
(but may be the usb scanning time depend on the
mothercard you have)
anyway scanning with scsi don't use your cpu so
for some little config it will be helpfull!

: I guess I'll just have to try it out. Questions: What resolution did you use? What speed is your computer? Did you use FARE dust removal? When I scanned at 4000 dpi with FARE I didn't think SCSI had a big advantage. But I'm not sure. I'll have to see if I can get it working-- never a sure thing.
