I am a new owner of a FS4000US scanner. I have just started to scan some Kodachrome slides. They sometims come out to dark in the shadows. In the specs for the scanner, Canon claims that it gives 42 bits, but in the tutorial it is recomendet to work in 48-bit mode. How di I get the extra bits?Thanks, Dan.
