Hello Jin.

I have the same setup, and my advice would be to get Vuescan, plus a cheap SCSI card. The reason for the SCSI card is that Ed Hamrick says that the FS4000 uses the USB channel in a somewhat unorthodox way which is not currently supported in the Linux USB implementation. The combination Vuescan + FS4000 + SCSI on Linux works very well.

: Hi everyone,
: I have a 100% Linux computer and would like to use Canon FS4000 film scanner. Does anyone have any information on how to get Linux to work with this scanner? I am using Red Hat Linux 7.2.

: Thanks in advance for any info.
: Jin
