Goals To find employment in an architecture and/or urban planning firm where I can make use of my existing skills while acquiring new ones. I would particularly like to gain experience with high-density urban projects, environmental building materials, mixed-used programming, and transit-oriented planning.
Job History 9.2001 - 2.2002 -- Vastu Shilpa Consultants, Ahmedabad, India
Worked for architects Balkrishna Doshi and Rajiv Kathpalia. Did design development and conceptual renderings for an IMAX theater in Ghandinagar, an experimental children's school in Ahmedabad, and a 100,000 m² mixed-use complex in Hyderabad. My design for part of the IMAX theater was eventually built. Also did solar studies of a proposed new urban core for the city of Mohali, and drafting for a 5,000-unit low-cost housing project in West Bengal.

10.2000 - 3.2001 -- Page One LLC, UT

Contracted to create a series of renderings of a proposed Utah resort for an investor booklet. Worked closely with project architects Marwan Al-Sayed, Rick Joy, and Wendell Burnette, and landscape architect Michael Boucher, to realize their conceptual designs.

6.1999 - 8.2000 -- Marwan Al-Sayed Architects, Phoenix, AZ

Initially contracted to create renderings for the National Design Triennial, then continued to assist Mr. Al-Sayed with drafting, project design development, materials specification, purchasing, client interactions, and interior design.
